He was dying. And as he looked up toward heaven, he said,
“Earth is receding, heaven is opening. This is my coronation day”.

Wow! Can you imagine it? You know you are literally hours from your own death, and yet, you are completely at peace. And not just because you feel that you will be free from the pains of this world. No! Rather, because it is your coronation day as well. You are confident that you will go to sleep in this world, and awaken in HEAVEN, where you also will receive the crown of life on your own Coronation Day. These words were reportedly spoken by preacher and founder of the Moody Bible Institute, Dwight L. Moody, on his deathbed. Come take a closer look with me at the sins and character flaws of some of the most prominent figures in the bible, and how God viewed them and dealt with their sin. I believe you will gain a new perspective, hopefully, a healthy perspective, of the Character of God and just how much He cares for you.

And once you have a healthy and true perspective of the character of God and His love for His people. Then it is my prayer that God’s love and forgiveness, as proven in his words to us, will not only renew in you a joyful hope for your future, but also instill in you an unbreakable faith that God’s assurances of grace and salvation are for you as well.
